The wine is suitable as an aperitif, as well as fried fish, shellfish and goat cheeses.
The frank aroma perfectly reveals notes of meadow flowers, apples, pears and almonds, and the mouth is round and tight, with a pleasant minerality. The perfect balance between freshness and generosity.
History of wine
His wines are aged by Sebastian Bobinet in a historic cellar carved in tuff (aka limestone) on the banks of the Saumur river in the Loire valley. Chenin Blanc turns out to be expressive and memorable with great potential for aging in the bottle.
In 2002, Sebastien Bobine inherited from his grandfather a wine cellar and 1.8 hectares of vineyard. This year can be considered the year of birth of Domaine Bobinet. The main thing for Sebastien has always been naturalness and naturalness in the cultivation and production of wine.
He began with 1.5 hectares of Cabernet Franc grapes and 0.3 hectares Chenin Blanc, which he stood in a historic cellar carved in tuff (aka limestone) in Saumur in the Loire Valley. It was from these grape varieties aged in barrels that the first wines of the highest quality, Amateus Bobi and Echalier, were born.
Today, Sebastian and Emelin own 6 hectares of vineyards in the native village of Beaulieu in the Saumur-Champigny area.
