Deep and powerful wine with tones of lemon creme brulee, thyme and fried sesame seeds and sweet notes of vanilla. Rich creamy taste, good acidity and pleasant texture.
History of wine
Vineyards in Woodburn, Renwick and Rapaura. Soils are diverse: from young alluvial soils in Renwick and Rapaura, where a lot of graywack stones are found, to older and more dense loamy ones interspersed with pebbles in the Southern Valleys. Production: Fermentation takes place in French barriques, most of which are old, and lasts up to 12 months. 2/3 of the wines also underwent malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged on the lees in steel tanks for 4 months.
